So I finally shot the majority of the short film. At least 2/3rd's of it, though the last 1/3 is the most post intensive as it involves puppeting and removing the puppeteer.
Anyway, I am working on editing and fixing the shots I have shot, and unfortunately that means some camera shadow removal. So this is an example. I have included the camera raw, the shot color corrected in DaVinci Resolve and the shadow fixed. It isn't perfect as you can see the line where I fixed it, but it is pretty good I think. Good enough that most won't notice.
Let me know what you think.

The Misadventures of Bear 04 VFX Tests Hallway Green Screen Tests V2 from Jonah Lee Walker on Vimeo.
I re-rendered versions 1, 4 and 5 (4 and 5 having the same puppet movement with different background shots). I think am leaning towards 3 which was shot with my Canon 60D, versus the green screen shot with the OSMO+, though maybe with another render more centered and maybe ending larger 4 and 5 might work.

Episode 4, Hallway VFX Tests, Green Screen
%28-%02-%2018, %R VFXThese are 7 variants (as well as A's and B's which are just pushes on existing background). The bear is shot green screen with both my canon 60 D and DJI Osmo+ to see what worked better, and there are two different variants on the background. I will likely reshoot the backgrounds because of the light leaks from the window, which you can see on the ceiling and door as I shot it during the day instead of at night.
So far I am leaning towards 1, 4 and 5 as my favorites. I am going to re-render those with a few changes (centering the bear more, and making her grown larger) and see which one is my favorite.
Episode 4, Macy and the TV VFX Test 2
%24-%05-%2015, %R Episode, VFXA second very quick VFX test of Macy running across the bed. I had to remove myself from the shot and think I did a pretty good job.
